* General introduction about functions, tasks, and main activities
Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, School of Law has the functions, powers and responsibilities of a grassroots union organization, tasked with uniting, gathering, supporting, and training over 1,000 members and youth who are studying and working at the Faculty.
- Functions, tasks:
+ Advise the Party Committee, the Department's Steering Committee, and the Student Union on matters and measures related to Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Can Tho University work and youth movements at the School of Law.
+ Leading, directing, and guiding the Youth Groups, developing action programs and specific tasks that align with the needs of the members and youth in the unit.
+ Organizing activities for young people, thereby collaborating with schools to contribute to shaping character, developing life skills, and enhancing work skills.
+ Monitor and grasp the situation regarding the study, activities, and thoughts of the youth; research solutions to provide timely advice and support to the Party Committee – the Department's Board of Directors and higher-level organizations in leading Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Can Tho University and youth movements comprehensively.
In addition to the primary duty of students to study, the issue of moral education, character development, creating a spiritual playground, supporting students, and meeting their learning and living needs is always a concern and plays an indispensable role for every student.

In addition, the cultural, artistic, and sports activities organized by Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, School of Law have been implemented effectively; student volunteer activities such as traditional art performances, traditional sports competitions, and enrollment counseling have received enthusiastic support and participation from students. These activities have contributed to educating the character and life ideals of each member.

The work of gathering youth has been prioritized and implemented effectively. The work of Party development has received attention, demonstrating the pioneering role and reliable reserve force of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
