1. INTRODUCTION
The Department of Administrative Law (DAL) is one of the three departments of the School of Law (SoL) at Can Tho University (CTU). After more than 20 years of establishment and development, the department has grown in terms of strength, faculty qualifications, quality of education, and academic research.
The DAL takes responsibility for the teaching content, quality, and progression of assigned modules in the SoL curriculum, general modules, and some modules in other programs across the University. At the same time, the DAL assumes responsibility for the creation, continuous development, and innovation of curricula, the organization of the compilation of textbooks, the development of references in response to educational objectives, and the exploration of innovative teaching methods. Additionally, the department conducts research; organizes conferences and scientific seminars… Also, the DAL draws up a plan for the development of its teaching staff; organizes the annual evaluation of management tasks, educational activities, and scientific and technological activities at the request of the SoL and University; actively participates in drafting legislation and in community-oriented professional activities.
2. ACADEMIC STAFF
The DAL has 15 lecturers. All of these lecturers have postgraduate qualifications. In addition, there are 03 lecturers who are working at other units in the Can Tho University also take part in teaching at the DAL.

3. TRAINING
The Bachelor of Law course offered by the DAL includes 141 credits (for the curriculum of course 46th and later). The program not only focuses on providing learners knowledge but also develops varied skills, such as communication skills; problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and other social skills. Therefore, students can adapt easily to the changes in policies and meet the requirements of the different jobs.
Graduate students equipped necessary knowledge and skills; high ethics, and professional responsibility so that they can be adaptive with varied jobs, such as civil servants of the Government Office, ministries and ministerial-level agencies, and directorates; People's Committees at all levels and subordinated specialized agencies (departments, divisions and equivalent agencies)... Moreover, graduate students can serve as Judges, Court Clerks, Examiners, Prosecutors, Lawyers, and Notaries... With the goal of training Administrative Law bachelors who have good knowledgeable and skills, we believe that when graduating, our students will respond well to job requirements and grasp opportunities in the future.
The DAL is in charge of 35 modules in the training program specializing in Administrative Law, Judicial Law, and Economic Law. 4. SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND TRANSFER ACTIVITIES
Besides teaching, the DAL also fulfills the functions of scientific researching. The DAL develops research directions and supports the lecturers in carrying out scientific and technological activities in various forms, such as implementing scientific research topics at all levels and international projects, writing and publishing scientific articles in prestigious journals, organizing scientific conferences and publishing textbooks, monographs, textbooks, and other academic activities. Thanks to the high professional qualifications of the lecturers and their passion for scientific research, the number of scientific research papers published each year is growing steadily and encouragingly: in the last 3 academic years, there were 02 to 03 textbooks published yearly, 04 to 05 books published by publishers and about 30 scientific articles published in authoritative international and national journals.
